Moving the Horizon 1 is a short 30 minute album loosely based around the concept of space and space travel, from childhood dreams of a journey to the Moon to the reality of space travel and distant discoveries, not all of them expected.

All tracks written and recorded by Thirty Ghosts during summer 2018.

Samples from X Minus One (50's Sci-Fi radio show) and a Soviet recording of Colonel Vladimir Komarov crash landing Soyuz 1.

Argeïphontes Lyre was used on Track 2 & Track 5 to heavily manipulate the source sounds.

"Behind every man now alive stand thirty ghosts, for that is the ratio by which the dead outnumber the living. Since the dawn of time, roughly a hundred billion human beings have walked the planet Earth." Arthur C Clark.
